The Texas Department of Health recommends that the following people be vaccinated:


•  Pregnant women
•  People who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months of age
•  Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
•   All children from 6 months through 4  years of age
•   Persons aged 5 through 64 years who have health
conditions associated with higher risk of medical
complications from influenza.
