George Ann Leonard, retired educator

I am a helper by nature and upon retirement (teacher-school counselor) I wanted to continue in that capacity as well as giving back to the community.

Besides the opportunity to help others, volunteering connects me to many like-minded individuals, wonderful, caring people as well as dedicated staff members.

What do I enjoy most? The interaction with patients, other volunteers, doctors and other dedicated staff members. It gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
