I am a charter member of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, organized in 1970. Volunteering helps fill a desire to be needed and to give back to the community.
I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing I am helping to ease the anxiety of people coming to the hospital by being friendly and helping them locate where they need to be.
What do I enjoy most? Greeting the visitors that come to the hospital and knowing that we are able to assist the employees of Memorial.
