Gene Lacy, from the Plant Operations Department, was nominated by a fellow staff member who asked for his assistance in helping an elderly woman and her wheelchair-bound husband into the men's room. According to the staff member, "Gene was just passing by, but didn't hesitate to lend a hand. He got the man and chair into the bathroom, stayed in there and helped the wife with the man, then got our guest back out of the bathroom. The man's wife couldn't have thanked Gene enough. I think this was a 'WOW' Moment, especially since this act was way out of Gene's area of duties and comfort zone." Wow Gene - way to go!
