Rhonda Wild, ICU nurse, was nominated for a Wow Moment by a patient’s family. They wrote about being anxious concerning an upcoming conference with their loved one’s cardiologist and then finding out that the meeting needed to be postponed.
“We were concerned about not knowing what was going on and needed someone to explain our loved one’s condition to us. Even though her shift was over, she took 25 minutes of her time to explain his condition and to help us feel much more comfortable about his
situation.”
“What a comfort and blessing to have a nurse who gives of her own time to help the family know we chose the right hospital.”
