I was returning to the Fort Worth/Dallas area from Louisiana, when my left rear tire blew out, and I had a major one-car accident. This happened about 15 miles east of Lufkin on state Highway 103. I would like to tell how wonderful your hospital and doctors are. I was in ICU at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital for more than two weeks before they could do surgery on my back, due to severe heart and lung damage. The staff was incredible. Doctors, police, nurses, aides, could not have been better anywhere in the world. My sister, niece and a family friend rented a motel room for the entire time I was there, which was about six weeks. I am 78 years of age, and am now moving my entire medical history to your great city. Just wanted to let your citizens know how fortunate they are to have such wonderful, caring health care in your city. Very glad they brought me to Nacogdoches!
