The mission of the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is to assist the administrative staff, healthcare providers, hospital employees, patients, their families and friends through services and monetary gifts for medical and other equipment.

Members of the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital Auxiliary bring inspiration and hope to those who need it most by sharing their time and talents. They take pride in being part of Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital’s 80-plus year tradition of compassion and caring.

Volunteers also give back to the hospital and community through yearly fundraisers and donations from the gift shop. The Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital Auxiliary makes annual donations to the Blood Center and the Nacogdoches Treatment Center, and gives funds for the Gussie Mae Carr Scholarship and the hospital’s Work Study Program. The group has purchased a van for the Cecil R. Bomar Rehabilitation Center and has given other much needed equipment to many areas of Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.

Members of the Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital Auxiliary team enjoy flexible hours and receive a free meal on the days they work, free flu shots, free TB tests and discounts in the gift shop. They also make new lifelong friends and share the satisfaction of knowing they make a difference in the lives of others.
