Diabetes Education

Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital's diabetes education department exercises a unique partnership between two components in order to treat the fastest growing health problem in the United States. Those two components are the Diabetes Self-Management Education Program, which teaches people with diabetes to manage their disease; and the Diabetes Support Plus group, which offers practical advice from others with the disease in a support group setting.
