Addressing specific needs of the community, the new fast track service located within the ER provides expert care for after-hours needs like sprains, strains, infections and other non-emergency (but still urgent) medical care.

ERs across the nation experience a problem with non-emergent, clinic-type traffic slowing down the system. Memorial is no exception. Our priority must be the life and death emergencies first, but those weekend ear infections and unexpected soccer injuries need to be seen as soon as possible, too. Creating the FastTrack clinic and operating it for 12 hours a day, everyday, has reduced the wait time for all patients, so we can do what we do best - taking excellent care of our patients.
