Room Service (Servicio de Habitación)
The room service program allows inpatients at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital to order meals by telephone at their convenience between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Patients can find menus in their room and meals can be ordered by calling (936) 569-4600.

Special diet considerations: If your physician has placed you on a special diet or if you have been scheduled for certain tests, you may not be permitted to order from the room service menu or your selection may be restricted. The hospitality center will be able to assist you in making appropriate choices. If you have dietary concerns and wish to speak with one of our registered dietitians, please call (936) 569-4106.

Guest Trays
If you would like to enjoy a meal in the room with your patient, we will be happy to provide you with a guest tray. Call the hospitality center by dialing ext. 3663 (FOOD) from the hospital room phone. You will be asked to select a reasonable sized meal from our room service menu. Guests trays are available for $5 per meal, which is due upon delivery.

Cafeteria Services
The Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital cafeteria is located on the north end of the hospital on the first floor. The cafeteria provides freshly prepared breakfast fare, home-style meats and vegetables, a salad bar, freshly baked desserts and a wide variety of beverages, including free coffee and iced tea.

Breakfast 7-9:30 a.m.
Lunch 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Midday Break 3 - 4 p.m.
Dinner (Weekdays) 5 - 6:30 p.m.
Dinner (Weekends) 4:30 - 6 p.m.

Vending Machines
For your convenience, vending machines are accessible 24 hours a day, in several locations, offering a variety of fresh cold sandwiches, snacks, candy, chips and cold drinks. Microwave ovens are available at each nurses’ station, as well as the ICU/IMC waiting area, which also features a convenient visitor break area, with table and chairs for dining. The main food machines are located on the first floor, near the cafeteria.
 

Nutrition Services
Medical Nutrition Therapy - Inpatient
While you are a patient, your nutritional health will be assessed by our staff of registered dietitians.  If you have special dietary needs or have questions about your diet, please let your nurse know.  If you have been placed on a special diet, you may be visited by a registered dietitian, who will provide you with individualized, one-on-one nutrition education.

Medical Nutrition Therapy - Outpatient
If you have a condition, for example diabetes, that requires extensive education, you may need the services of our Medical Nutrition Therapy program. This service is available with a prescription from a doctor and is often covered by medical insurance. The outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy program will offer you individualized, hands-on counseling, with follow-up sessions as needed. For more information, call 936-569-4605.
