Our medical social workers help ease any stress and anxiety caused by your illness, thus enhancing your recovery.

Social workers provide counseling, guidance and assistance with interpersonal, emotional and financial problems. They can help you make decisions about home healthcare and hospice, assist you in obtaining community services, arrange for sign language or other interpreters and help you locate appropriate nursing and rehabilitation facilities.

To request a visit from a social worker or home care coordinator, ask your nurse.
