We celebrated a huge milestone in December when Nacogdoches Memorial turned 90 years old. We commemorated the event with a community reception.
Along with a variety of historical photos, the original cornerstone from the City Memorial building was displayed during the party. The festivities included the acknowledgement of two families who were descendants of men on the original city commission that founded City Memorial in 1928. The Joe Goldsberry and Hilliard Stone families were given photos of the cornerstone that listed their ancestors and commemorative Christmas ornaments showing the original hospital building.
