Cecil Bomar celebrates arrival of new transport van
Everyone at Cecil Bomar Rehab Center was excited this week when Kristine Sutton, chief nursing officer, and Brandy Stamps, Bomar unit manager, arrived at the rehab center driving a new Chrysler minivan. None could touch the joy, however, that nurse aide and transporter Toshua McAlister felt when she finally laid eyes on the new ride.
The old van affectionately named “Bertha” had lots of mechanical problems, including a reluctance to go in reverse. Bertha had seen better days and badly needed to be retired, so this new van has been long anticipated by Toshua, who does most of the driving of patients and meals for Bomar Rehab. Congratulations to Bomar Rehab on their much-needed new wheels!
