Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital works closely with patients who have financial need, including helping them qualify for government programs or other financial assistance and payment programs.
If you have any questions or concerns about your payment for your hospital bills call Patient Accounts at (936) 564-4611.
Because our goal is to provide consumers with helpful information, we feel it is our responsibility to explain some of the complications involved in determining a patient's bill. Providing you with an estimate of your potential costs is an imperfect process and although we would like to guarantee our pricing estimates, it would be inappropriate to do so. You see, when you have services at our facility, your costs may be less or more than what we estimated because of a number of reasons. All estimates are based on information provided to us by a prospective patient and we compare that information to our hospital's historical pricing for comparable services. We cannot predict or estimate for changes in treatment decisions, unforeseen complications, and additional tests or procedures ordered by a physician, among other things.
You may be asked to pay all or a portion of non-emergency tests and service fees provided by Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital at the time the services are provided. Non-emergency tests and fees will require a deposit prior to services being rendered.
For your convenience, there are a number of different ways to make payments on your hospital bills. These include: cash payment, personal check, credit card (MasterCard, Visa®, American Express® or Discover®) and extended payment plan. Hospital bills can be quite large at times, and often unexpected. Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital’s Patient Accounts team understands that everyone at one time or another has trouble meeting financial obligations. If you know you will have trouble paying your bills at the hospital, or if you need to make arrangements for extended payments, please let us know by calling (936) 564-4611, ext. 8536 or 4649.
More detailed pricing information is available. If our estimated pricing information does not appear to cover your service, or if you feel you will have complicating factors requiring a more detailed query, you may call our representatives for a good faith estimate at (936) 564-4611, ext. 8536 or 4649.
Prior To Your Call
Prior to your call, please contact your physician's office to get the specific diagnosis or procedure description.
When you call our Service Center, please have the following information available, so that we can provide you with the most accurate estimate possible:
Where did this data come from?
We pulled data from the most recent calendar year to determine pricing on our most common surgical procedures and inpatient admissions.
If the hospital has not had at least 5 patients in the past year utilizing that service, "N/A" will appear in the pricing range. "Hospital Stay range" refers to an average length of stay in the hospital for inpatient admissions. Any hospital advertised prices or flat rates will supercede these rates.
What is not included in our estimates?
The estimates provided are only related to your hospital bill. Your personal physician or other physicians providing you with services related to your hospital stay or visit will bill you separately. This can include fees related to specialists, anesthesiologists, pathologists, and radiologists.
Independent laboratory and radiology services will also bill you separately for reading and interpreting EKG's, X-rays, EEG's and lab work. If you have questions about those bills, please call the number printed on their statements.
When you have made an informed decision and are ready to proceed with services at our facility, you should contact your physician's office to ask to have your service scheduled.
Pre-registration is available to all scheduled patients prior to the date of service and expedites the admission process. All registration information will be obtained over the telephone.
When you arrive at the facility, you will be required to provide your identification, finalize financial arrangements and sign a few forms before going to the department.
