A Surgery Center that will make Nacogdoches proud

We promised Nacogdoches a Surgery Center to be proud of and that’s exactly what we’ve delivered in our $40 million expansion project.

While enhancing technology was key in the design of the new facility, improving outcomes and enriching the experience of patients and families was the driving focus. Suregery Center Atrium

Whether you come to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital with a hernia or a life-threatening heart condition, you can trust our highly skilled surgeons to get you back on your feet as soon as possible.

A light-filled lobby, convenient access to our new Coffee Spot and comfortable waiting areas make our visitor experience more enjoyable. A window-lined atrium leading to the surgical annex allows plenty of sunshine to pour in. Soothing colors, interesting curves and unusual architectural lines give the cutting-edge facility a bright, cheerful attitude.

Our surgeons work in optimal conditions to deliver high-quality treatment, limiting your pain and recovery time and offering you the best results possible. Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital's Surgery Center nearly doubled in size to 30,000 square feet and  features eight best-in-class surgical suites, with ceiling-mounted boom systems for image-guided surgery, monitoring and instrumentation.

No one looks forward to having surgery, but if you need our services, you can feel confident that you’ve chosen well.

Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital offers a wide range of high-quality surgical services, with specially trained staff, facilities and services for the assessment and care of patients requiring surgery. Due to the special needs of patients having surgery, the following guidelines apply:

  • Visitors are not allowed in the operating rooms; they may stay in a special waiting area nearby.
  • During the day shift, a volunteer patient liaison is available in the waiting area to keep relatives and friends informed of the patient's progress during surgery.
  • If a volunteer patient liaison is not available, the nursing staff will give progress reports to you as time allows.
  • The surgeon will find your family and friends in the waiting area following surgery. A private consultation room is available for your needs. Just ask the volunteer liaison.
